CBF Group is a family-owned business founded in 1938 by Chafic Boulos, who launched his activity in Lebanon.

1938

Foundation

Chafic Boulos launches the company's activity in Lebanon, laying the foundations for what would become a leading regional distributor.

1943

Tableware & Kitchenware

The Group enters the tableware and kitchenware fields, its core historical activity ever since.

1940s to 1970s

European Ties

Strong business relationships form with Europe through the 1940s. Between 1960 and 1970, solid partnerships are established with Verreries de Saint-Gobain (Saint-Gobain Group) and JG Durand (Arc International).

1980s

Regional Expansion

A massive expansion across the Middle East begins, growing CBF into a leading tableware and kitchenware player supplying both retail and HORECA markets.

Looking Forward

Despite regional geopolitical and economic challenges, the Group continues to expand and invest, foreseeing new growth opportunities ahead.
